I’ve written a Latest Comments module for JD-WordPress based on Brians Latest Comments for WordPress. It was quite a lot of work to convert the code to function under Joomla! Seems to work, and appears to be stable. It’s in the downloads section, and you can see it in use on the right.

Like my other Joomla! modules, this is also available for download via the JoomlaDeveloping and Joomla Forge.

update: there was a small bug in the number of displayed posts. this has been corrected and is available for download.
