I took my iPhone 4 on vacation with me earlier this month and used it as a handy little video camera. I’ve been pleasantly surprised with the quality of the HD videos that you can get out of it. Not only that, but it comes with a fully fledged video editor, iMovie – a mobile version of the Mac version of iMovie.

Below are two videos filmed and edited entirely on the iPhone. YouTube does compromise their quality somewhat, even if you up the quality to HD, which I recommend (click the bottom right of the movie). I’m pretty pleased with the quality, even with YouTube’s heavy compression. At home, the native videos look terrific.
