I’m a big fan of Apple’s new OS X Leopard, even of the glass menus and the 3D dock. I do however quite like the smoke look that’s popular in Mac applications these days. So with the help of Fireworks I set about smokifying the 3D dock.
Wow. I posted this back in November 2007 – over two years ago. I don’t think I still have this particular dock anywhere. I moved to a Dark Tiger-esque 2D Dock a while back. Like this one. I’ll see if I still have the dark 3D dock, but I don’t think I do.
Right, found it. Turns out both my 2D and 3D dock are part of the same package. Back yup your current images from the Dock app and replace them with the ones in this zip, then restart your dock, and you are sorted.
